Suncoast Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced USSSA/USA/ASA Slowpitch Bat
The Suncoast Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced (model SRRUB12) is a two-piece composite slowpitch softball bat built for hitters who want a fast, controlled swing and consistent hard contact. Its evenly distributed weight makes it the quickest-swinging bat in the Ruckus Resurgence lineup, and Suncoast backs that feel with its Ultimate Fiber Compression barrel, Max Speed Handle and Stick & Spin barrel surface. It is approved for play in USSSA, USA Softball, NSA and ISA, so one bat covers league nights and tournament weekends.

Suncoast Bat Technology Features
Ultimate Fiber Compression (UFC) Barrel
Suncoast's UFC Barrel Technology uses ultimate compressed fiber for enhanced durability and consistent performance on every hit, so the barrel keeps producing game after game.
Max Speed Handle
A smaller handle diameter maximizes barrel whip. Paired with balanced weighting, it delivers top-end bat speed and excellent bat control, helping you square up pitches in every part of the zone.
Stick & Spin Barrel Technology
A tackified barrel surface "grips" the softball on a cut swing, spinning the ball faster for a higher trajectory and more distance on your hardest-hit balls.
OPTI-DURA Performance Composite
Aerospace-grade carbon fiber combined with Suncoast's proprietary manufacturing process delivers maximum performance and durability, hit after hit.
Who Should Swing a Balanced Slowpitch Bat?
A balanced bat spreads its weight evenly from handle to end cap, creating a lighter swing feel than an end-loaded model at the same weight. That makes the SRRUB12 a strong choice for contact and gap hitters, players who want to place the ball to all fields, and anyone who values bat speed and barrel control. Want more mass behind the ball? Compare the Ruckus Resurgence 12" End Load or the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Super-Load.
Choosing the Right Weight
- 25–26 oz: Maximum bat speed and control for contact hitters and players who like a quick swing.
- 27–28 oz: More mass at contact for stronger hitters who want a balanced feel without giving up drive.

Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced FAQ
Is the Suncoast Ruckus Resurgence SRRUB12 legal for USSSA slowpitch?
Yes. The Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced is approved for play in USSSA, USA Softball, NSA and ISA. Association rules and approved bat lists can change, so always confirm with your league or tournament director before play.
What is the difference between a balanced and end-loaded bat?
A balanced bat distributes weight evenly for a lighter swing feel, faster bat speed and more control. An end-loaded bat shifts weight toward the end of the barrel for more mass at contact, which favors strong power hitters.
What sizes does the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced come in?
The SRRUB12 is available in a 34" length in 25 oz, 26 oz, 27 oz and 28 oz weights.
Is a balanced bat good for power hitters?
Yes. Many power hitters prefer a balanced bat because the extra bat speed can generate just as much exit velocity as added end weight. If you swing fast and like to stay on top of the ball, a balanced 27 or 28 oz model is a great fit.
Does the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced need to be broken in?
Like most composite slowpitch bats, it performs best after a proper break-in. Rotate the bat a quarter turn between hits, use regulation softballs and avoid hitting in cold weather. Want it done for you? Add our bat break-in service.
Does this bat come with a warranty?
Yes, the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced includes a manufacturer warranty. Visit our warranty information page for details on how to submit a claim.
Can I use the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Balanced in senior softball?
The SRRUB12 is approved for USSSA, USA Softball, NSA and ISA, not SSUSA senior play. Senior players should shop Suncoast senior slowpitch bats.
