Smash It Sports Return Policy
At Smash It Sports, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That's why we offer an industry leading 60-Day Return Policy on eligible items that are still in their original condition, UNUSED. Original packaging must be in tact, and any warranty cards included upon return. Some bats like Short Porch MUST HAVE the warranty card to use the warranty, and returns without these items may incur additional fees.
General Return Guidelines:
- A return refers to sending back an unused item for a refund. Common reasons include the product not fitting or a change of mind.
- Defective items: If an item becomes defective within the 60-day window, the manufacturer is responsible for repair or replacement. We do not accept returns for used items or items that become defective while in your posession. Please see our Warranty page for details on how to process a manufacturer warranty claim.
- All original boxes, bags, packaging and literature must be in new condition and included with the returned product. Including warranty cards.
- Only retail sales made on www.SmashItSports.com are eligible for free returns. Wholesale orders, Event sales, and other 3rd party sales channels are NOT eligible for free return shipping.
- Orders to US48 are eligible. Order shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, other US territories, and internationally are not be eligible for free returns.
Items Marked "Eligible for Free 60-Day Returns":
- Return Window: 60 days from the purchase date.
- Free Return Label: We'll provide you with a free prepaid shipping label.
- Refund Details:
- Route Package Protection and expedited shipping charges are not refundable.
- A 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund, with the remainder refunded to the original payment method.
- Optional Bonus: Avoid the 3% fee by opting for a refund in store credit, and receive an additional 5% store credit bonus.
- Example: A $300 order would receive $315 in store credit.
- Note: Certain payment methods, such as financing options, may not qualify for the 5% store credit bonus.
Items NOT Marked "Free Return Eligible":
- Return window: 60 days from the purchase date.
- Return Label: We'll send a prepaid return label.

Refund Details:
- The refund will be for the cost of the product only minus any shipping costs incurred by Smash It Sports and a 3% transaction fee.
- Route Package Protection and shipping charges paid for by the customer are not refundable.
- Optional Bonus: Avoid the 3% fee by opting for a refund in store credit, and receive an additional 5% store credit bonus.
Items Marked "Not Eligible for Return":
- These items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.
Processing Returns:
All returned items are subject to review by our team. While most returns are processed the same day we receive them, it may take 48 to 72 hours for the refund to reflect on your credit card statement.
Exchanges:
Due to fluctuating inventory, we cannot guarantee that the item you wish to exchange will still be in stock at the time of the return. To ensure availability contact us to purchase the item you want and send back the original item per the above return policy. We will issue a refund for the returned item once received.
Refuse Delivery:
If you refuse delivery of a package, there will be a minimum fee of $20 deducted from your refund.
What happens if you receive a defective item:
If you receive a product that is new in a box without any visible damage from shipping, but the item inside the packaging appears damaged. Please email us at info@smashitsports.com and include photos of both the damaged product and the shipping box.
We want to make returning merchandise as simple as possible. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth return process:
Step 1: Fill Out the Return Form
- Please fill out the return form HERE completely, including your email, order number and items you wish to return.
Step 2: Receive Your Return Authorization Number (RA#)
- After submitting the return form, a member of our Customer Service Team will reach out to you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). This number is required to proceed with your return.
Step 3: Package Your Item(s) for Return Shipping
- Carefully package the items you are returning. We highly recommend that you use a sturdy box for protection during shipping.
- Important: Do not use the manufacturer’s branded packaging as the outer box. For example, we will not accept returns where the branded packaging (such as a ball box, fielding glove box or shoe box) is used as the shipping box. Ensure that these special boxes are placed inside another box or bag for added protection. This does not apply to bat boxes. A simple rule to use is, if we did not ship the product to you in only that packaging, do not ship it back to us in only that packaging. Failure to follow this rule will result in a reduced refund amount not to exceed 50% of the price of the item.
Step 4: Ship Your Package
- Bring your packaged return to the nearest shipping center of the service provider displayed on your return label, either UPS or USPS. Make sure to keep the receipt and tracking information for your records.

Damaged, Missing, & Lost Merchandise Policy
At Smash It Sports, we understand the importance of ensuring your order arrives safely and in perfect condition. That’s why all orders placed through our website automatically include Route Package Protection for a small fee at checkout.
Route Package Protection:
- Automatic Application: Route Package Protection is automatically added to your order to protect against lost, damaged, or stolen items during transit.
- Third-Party Claims Handling: Route is a third-party service that will handle any claims related to damaged, missing, or lost merchandise. To file a claim, please visit https://claims.route.com/.
Removing Route Protection:
- Customer Responsibility: If you choose to remove Route Package Protection at checkout, Smash It Sports will not be liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
- No Coverage: Without Route Protection, any issues related to shipping, such as loss, damage or theft, will not be covered by Smash It Sports.
