Suncoast Bat Technology Features
Ultimate Fiber Compression (UFC) Barrel
Suncoast's UFC Barrel Technology uses ultimate compressed fiber for enhanced durability and consistent performance on every hit, keeping the barrel strong under the extra stress of a super-loaded swing.
Max Speed Handle
A smaller handle diameter maximizes barrel whip. That matters most on a super-load, helping you keep bat speed up and stay in control even with the heaviest weighting Suncoast offers in this series.
Stick & Spin Barrel Technology
A tackified barrel surface "grips" the softball on a cut swing, spinning the ball faster for a higher trajectory and maximum distance on your blasts.
OPTI-DURA Performance Composite
Aerospace-grade carbon fiber combined with Suncoast's proprietary manufacturing process delivers maximum performance and durability, hit after hit.
Who Should Swing a Super-Load Bat?
A super-load bat pushes even more weight toward the end of the barrel than a standard end load. It is designed for strong, experienced power hitters with a fast, repeatable swing who want maximum momentum at contact. If you are already comfortable with an end-loaded bat and want more carry, the SRRUSL12 is the next step up. Prefer a little less load? Compare the Ruckus Resurgence 12" End Load or the longer-barrel Ruckus Resurgence 13" End Load.
Choosing the Right Weight
- 25–26 oz: The easiest way into a super-load, keeping more bat speed while still getting a heavy end feel.
- 27–28 oz: Maximum mass for the strongest hitters who can swing a heavy super-load without losing bat speed.

Ruckus Resurgence Super-Load FAQ
Is the Suncoast Ruckus Resurgence SRRUSL12 legal for USSSA slowpitch?
Yes. The Ruckus Resurgence 12" Super-Load is approved for play in USSSA, USA Softball, NSA and ISA. Association rules and approved bat lists can change, so always confirm with your league or tournament director before play.
What is the difference between super-load and end load?
Both place extra weight toward the end of the barrel, but a super-load moves even more mass toward the end cap. That creates a heavier swing feel and more momentum at contact, which suits strong power hitters. An end load is a step lighter in feel and easier to control.
What sizes does the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Super-Load come in?
The SRRUSL12 is available in a 34" length in 25 oz, 26 oz, 27 oz and 28 oz weights.
Is a super-load bat right for me?
A super-load is best for experienced power hitters who already generate strong bat speed. If you are new to loaded bats or prefer a quicker swing, consider the Ruckus Resurgence 12" or 13" End Load first.
Does the Ruckus Resurgence Super-Load need to be broken in?
Like most composite slowpitch bats, it performs best after a proper break-in. Rotate the bat a quarter turn between hits, use regulation softballs and avoid hitting in cold weather. Want it done for you? Add our bat break-in service.
Does this bat come with a warranty?
Yes, the Ruckus Resurgence 12" Super-Load includes a manufacturer warranty. Visit our warranty information page for details on how to submit a claim.
Can I use the Ruckus Resurgence Super-Load in senior softball?
The SRRUSL12 is approved for USSSA, USA Softball, NSA and ISA, not SSUSA senior play. Senior players should shop Suncoast senior slowpitch bats.
