Shipping & Delivery FAQ

How much is shipping, and when do orders ship?
  • Free standard shipping on most products — thousands of items qualify.
  • We ship Monday–Friday only. Weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day.
  • Overnight & 2-Day orders placed before 4:00 PM Eastern ship same day, guaranteed.
  • Standard/Economy orders typically ship same day; high-volume periods may push processing to 24–36 hours.
Can you ship overnight? How does UPS Next Day Air work?

Yes, via UPS Next Day Air Saver. Place your order before 4:00 PM Eastern for same-day shipment. Orders placed after 4:00 PM ship the following business day. Friday overnight orders deliver Monday. Saturday delivery is available at checkout for an upcharge where eligible.

Free Overnight Shipping — Eligibility & Restrictions

Free overnight shipping is available on select bats shipped to eligible addresses within the contiguous 48 states (US48). Exclusions include Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO addresses, and international destinations. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Thursday ship Friday and deliver Monday. Saturday delivery is a paid option where available.

If your US48 address doesn’t qualify for UPS Overnight, we provide UPS 2-Day Air at no charge on eligible products. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Thursday ship Friday and deliver in 2 business days.

Do closeout items ship free?

No — most closeout and clearance items carry a small shipping fee. Check the product page for details.

Do you ship to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico & US Territories?

Canada: Yes, most items. Taxes, duties, and import fees are included in the quoted shipping cost. All prices are in US Dollars.

Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam & US territories: Yes. A shipping quote is displayed in your cart at checkout.

My shipment is late — what should I do?

Start by checking the tracking number emailed to you. Carriers occasionally deliver past their ETA due to weather or other service exceptions — your tracking will typically note these delays.

Am I eligible for a refund if my order didn’t arrive on time?

Smash It Sports and our shipping partners cannot guarantee delivery within the window shown at checkout. Factors like weather, natural disasters, and carrier exceptions are outside our control. Contact us if your shipment is significantly delayed — we will work with you to find a resolution.

My order never arrived — it’s been over a week. What do I do?

Your order may be delayed, lost in transit, or held pending custom apparel completion. Contact our customer care team and we’ll direct you. If your order included Route Package Protection — file a claim at claims.route.com.

I entered the wrong shipping address — can you fix it?
⚠️ Once your order has left our warehouse, the address cannot be updated.
  • If a return-to-sender is needed, additional shipping fees apply before the order can reship to the correct address.
  • If you refuse delivery of a package, a minimum $20 fee will be deducted from your refund.
Can I leave special delivery instructions (e.g., “leave on porch”)?

Delivery notes added in the order notes field at checkout are not forwarded to couriers. We cannot guarantee couriers will follow special instructions, as delivery methods are outside our control.

Shipping Insurance — Lost, Damaged & Stolen Packages

Route Package Protection — How it works

All orders placed on SmashItSports.com include an option for Route Package Protection for a small fee at checkout. Route is a third-party service that handles all claims for lost, damaged, or stolen shipments during transit.

To file a claim: Visit claims.route.com. Route’s support team will guide you through the entire process.

⚠️ If you remove Route protection at checkout, Smash It Sports is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen items. No coverage will apply.

Orders, Returns & Exchanges FAQ

How do I change or update my order after placing it?

Email info@smashitsports.com as soon as possible for time-sensitive changes such as address corrections, product swaps, or quantity adjustments. The faster you contact us, the better our chance of catching your order before it ships.

What is your return policy? Do you accept returns?

Yes! We offer a 30-Day Return Policy on eligible items that are in original, unused condition with intact packaging. Read the full Returns Policy →

  • Custom & Personalized Items/Apparel: All sales are final. We do not allow returns or exchanges on items with name/number or custom color/logo items. If you have a quality or workmanship issue, contact us and we will make it right.

 

How do exchanges work at Smash It Sports?

Due to fluctuating inventory, we cannot guarantee an exchange item will be in stock when your return arrives. To secure availability:

  1. Contact us and purchase the replacement item you want.
  2. Return the original item following our return policy.
  3. Once we receive the returned item, we issue your refund.

I received the wrong product — what do I do?

Contact us right away. We will cover all shipping costs to correct the error. We’ll email you a prepaid return label to swap the item for the correct one.

Can I cancel a pre-order?
⚠️ We do not accept cancellations on any pre-ordered products. Pre-orders are not in stock and will not ship until inventory arrives.

Do you have a price match guarantee?

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, we collect sales tax in applicable US states. If your organization is tax exempt, contact us at 585-465-3167 before placing your order to arrange it properly.

For international orders, Smash It Sports pays all duties — included in your quoted shipping price. All pricing is in US Dollars.

Do you offer financing? (Klarna & Affirm)

Yes! Financing is available through Klarna and Affirm directly at checkout — no hidden costs:

  • 3, 6, or 9 month financing plans

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Treat gift cards like cash — lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Gift cards are redeemable only at SmashItSports.com, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and do not expire.

Why did your fraud department contact me? Is Smash It Sports secure?

Don’t be alarmed — this happens on fewer than 1% of orders. Our fraud team protects your data and guards against unauthorized transactions. Simply provide the requested details (typically a photo ID) and your order will ship promptly.

Tip: Shipping to your billing address reduces the chance of an order being flagged for review.

Smash It Sports uses PCI-compliant best practices. Your credit card data is never stored on our servers.

Products, Inventory & Warranty FAQ

Is your online inventory accurate?

Yes. We use computerized inventory tracking. If our website shows an item in stock, we believe we have it. In the rare event of a stock discrepancy, we’ll contact you immediately to arrange a substitution or refund.

My bat broke — do I send it to Smash It Sports for warranty?
⚠️ Do NOT ship warranty bats to Smash It Sports.

Most bats sold include a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty. To file a warranty claim, contact the bat manufacturer directly. Visit our Warranty Information page for manufacturer contact details.

Bats shipped to us without authorization will be held for 30 days and then disposed of at our discretion. We will attempt to contact you, so please keep your contact information current.

Where are you located? How long does delivery take?

We ship from Rochester, NY. Typical transit times via USPS/UPS:

  • East Coast: 1–5 days
  • Texas & westward: approximately 3-6 days
My coupon code isn’t working — what do I do?

Not all coupon codes found on the internet are valid on our website. Older ads may show expired codes. Military Discount and VIP Text codes may not apply to all products.
