Highly recommend this glove. First off, I think they need to advertise the type of leather it is. I email and was told it’s a hybrid of Kip and steerhide. That’s some high end leather that makes it worth it even at full price. Description says 80/20 break in but I think it’s 100% player break in. It’s as stiff as a rock. Which is a good thing and a sign of quality leather. If you’re getting a new glove that’s soft and ready to play it’s cheap thin leather. I’m impressed with the laces, stitching and overall craftsmanship. I would compare this glove to an A2K, Pro preferred and Mizuno Pro. If you’re thinking of getting a new glove get a viper and be ready to take some time breaking it in.
