Damaged, Missing, & Lost Merchandise Policy
At Smash It Sports, we understand the importance of ensuring your order arrives safely and in perfect condition. That’s why all orders placed through our website automatically include Route Package Protection for a small fee at checkout.
Route Package Protection:
- Automatic Application: Route Package Protection is automatically added to your order to protect against lost, damaged, or stolen items during transit.
- Third-Party Claims Handling: Route is a third-party service that will handle any claims related to damaged, missing, or lost merchandise. To file a claim, please visit https://claims.route.com/.
Removing Route Protection:
- Customer Responsibility: If you choose to remove Route Package Protection at checkout, Smash It Sports will not be liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
- No Coverage: Without Route Protection, any issues related to shipping, such as loss, damage or theft, will not be covered by Smash It Sports.
By keeping Route Package Protection on your order, you can shop with peace of mind knowing your purchase is protected. If you have any issues or questions about filing a claim, Route’s support team is available to assist you throughout the process.

Standard Shipping
- Delivery Time: Orders are typically delivered within 2-5 business days to most lower 48 U.S. addresses. However, exceptions may apply for rural areas, Alaska, and Hawaii.
- Cutoff Time: Orders placed before 4:00 PM EST on business days will usually ship the same day. Orders placed after this time may not ship until the next business day. Please note that pre-orders and custom-produced products may not ship the same day.
Delivery Instructions
- Order Notes: If you provide delivery instructions in the order notes (e.g., "Leave package on front porch"), these will not be forwarded to the delivery couriers. We cannot guarantee that couriers will follow these instructions, as their delivery methods are outside of our control.
Return to Sender/Refuse Delivery:
- For orders returned to us as "Return to Sender," you may be charged additional fees to cover the extra postage involved.
- If you refuse delivery of a package, there will be a minimum fee of $20 deducted from your refund.
- The above mentioned fees would come off your order refund amount.
International Shipping (Canada)
- Canada Shipping: Orders shipping to Canada will be sent via USPS and typically take 7-10 business days to arrive. However, delivery times may vary due to customs delays.
- Customs Duties/Taxes: Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees associated with international shipments. If you would like to avoid these fees, consider ordering product from Smash It Sports Canada.
Expedited Shipping Options
- 2-3 Day and Overnight Shipping: Please note that the "2-3 day" and "overnight" shipping options do not apply to international orders. These timelines are for U.S. addresses only.
Return Shipping
- Carefully package the items you are returning. We highly recommend that you use a sturdy box for protection during shipping.
- Important: Do not use the manufacturer’s branded packaging as the outer box. For example, we will not accept returns where the branded packaging (such as a ball box, fielding glove box or shoe box) is used as the shipping box. Ensure that these special boxes are placed inside another box or bag for added protection. This does not apply to bat boxes. A simple rule to use is, if we did not ship the product to you in only that packaging, do not ship it back to us in only that packaging. Failure to follow this rule will result in a reduced refund amount not to exceed 50% of the price of the item.
