Clearance Baseball & Softball Bats at Closeout Prices

Smash It Sports' clearance baseball and softball bats collection is where you'll find new, game-ready bats from Easton, Marucci, Rawlings, Victus, Axe, Warstic, Mizuno, Soldier Sports and Suncoast at deep discounts. Every bat in this collection is marked down from its original price, covering BBCOR, USSSA, USA Baseball, fastpitch, wood and select slowpitch models.

Clearance bats are typically prior model years, limited-edition colorways or remaining sizes from a production run. The performance is the same bat that sold at full price weeks earlier, so it's one of the easiest ways to put an elite composite or hybrid bat in a player's hands for less. Sizes and drops sell through fast, so if you see your length and weight, grab it.

Shop Clearance Bats by Certification

Always confirm what your league requires before buying. The stamp on the taper, not the barrel graphics, decides whether a bat is legal.

How to Choose the Right Clearance Bat

  • Certification first: Match the stamp (BBCOR, USSSA, USA, USA/ASA or SSUSA) to your league rules.
  • Length: Stand the bat at your side; the knob should reach the center of your palm.
  • Drop weight: A heavier drop (closer to -3) builds power; a lighter drop helps bat speed and control.
  • Swing weight: Balanced bats suit contact and gap hitters, while end-loaded bats suit stronger power hitters.
  • Material: Composite bats offer a bigger sweet spot and less vibration, alloy bats are game-ready out of the wrapper, and hybrid bats blend both.

Why Buy Clearance Bats from Smash It Sports

Clearance Bat FAQ

Are clearance bats new?

Yes. Bats in this collection are new, unused bats that are discounted because they are a previous model year, a limited colorway or a remaining size. Pre-owned bats are listed separately in our used bats collection.

Why are these bats on sale?

Manufacturers release new models and colorways every season. When a new year launches, we mark down the previous models and limited runs to make room, which means you get the same technology at a lower price.

Do clearance bats come with a warranty?

Most new clearance bats carry the standard manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by brand and model, so check the product page and our Warranty Information page for details.

Can I return a clearance bat?

Return eligibility can differ for sale items. Review our Customer Care policies before purchasing, or contact our team with questions.

What is the difference between BBCOR, USSSA and USA bats?

BBCOR bats are -3 drop bats required in high school and college. USSSA bats are used in travel and tournament baseball and typically allow a 2 3/4" barrel. USA Baseball bats are required in youth leagues like Little League, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken and PONY. Always check your league rules before buying.

How do I know what size bat to buy?

Size depends on height, weight, age and strength. Use our youth baseball bat sizing guide as a starting point, and stay with a length and weight the player can swing with control.

Do you price match clearance bats?

See our Price Match Guarantee page for eligibility and how to submit a request.

How often are new bats added to clearance?

New markdowns are added throughout the year, especially as new model years release. Inventory is limited and popular sizes sell out quickly, so check back often.
