Spec C1 Performance Technology

SFX Barrel Technology

COMBAT's SFX barrel engineering creates an extended hitting surface and an expanded sweet spot. Precision seamless composite construction keeps the barrel consistent from end to end, so hitters get more forgiveness across the zone.

Balanced Swing Weight

The balanced swing weight keeps the Spec C1 fast and easy to control. Hitters can accelerate through the zone, stay on plane, and turn on pitches with confident barrel control.

Flex and Forgiveness

A stiff, direct feel at contact meets the forgiveness of a two-piece design. Vibration dampening keeps feedback crisp and cuts down on hand sting from off-center hits.

Clinch Spec Grip

Every Spec C1 comes with the COMBAT MFG Clinch Spec Grip, adding extra tack and just the right amount of cushion. Complete the setup with batting gloves or Combat MFG batting gloves.

Unmistakable Sound

Every barreled ball lets out a loud, head-turning thwack that makes hitters want to square up one more.

Choose Your Spec C1 Drop Weight

The Spec C1 comes in three length-to-weight ratios to match hitters at every stage of travel ball:

  • -10: The lightest option, built for younger players who want maximum bat speed and control.
  • -6.5: A first-of-its-kind bridge weighting for hitters who have outgrown light drops but aren't ready for a -5.
  • -5: The heaviest option, built for advanced hitters preparing for the move to BBCOR.

Combat Spec C1 USSSA Bats FAQ

When does the 2027 Combat Spec C1 release?

The Spec C1 launches in three colorways: Sandstorm on November 6, Mint Militia on November 20, and Cookies and Cream on December 4.

Is the Combat Spec C1 legal for USSSA baseball?

Yes. Every Spec C1 displays the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification stamp (new NTS tested), so it is approved for USSSA play. It is not a BBCOR or USA Baseball bat, so always check your league's bat rules before game day.

Do the Spec C1 colorways perform differently?

No. Sandstorm, Mint Militia, and Cookies and Cream share the same Spec C1 build. The only difference is the look.

Which Spec C1 drop weight should I choose?

Most younger players do best with the -10 for bat speed and control. The -6.5 suits stronger hitters ready for more mass, and the -5 fits advanced hitters getting ready for BBCOR.

What does two-piece composite construction mean?

A two-piece bat joins a separate barrel and handle. The joint helps absorb vibration, so mishits sting less, while the composite barrel delivers a large sweet spot and consistent performance.

Does the Spec C1 need a break-in period?

Like most composite bats, it is smart to break it in gradually with regulation leather baseballs, rotating the bat slightly after each hit. Avoid rubber batting cage balls and use in cold weather, which can damage composite barrels.

Do Spec C1 bats ship free?

Yes. Every 2027 Combat Spec C1 USSSA bat ships free.

Can I return a Spec C1 if it isn't the right fit?

Smash It Sports accepts returns on eligible items within 30 days of purchase. Visit our Returns page to start a return.
